
Veronique Morin
Véronique Morin is a Québec based science journalist.
In 2008, she became aware and interested in issues related to biopiracy when she was reporting on a group of scientists who were exploring medicinal plants used by the Cree and other Indigenous Peoples in Canada.
She served as first president of the World Federation of Science journalists, and cochair of the WCSJ-2004 in Montreal.
Veronique was the project manager of the 2nd (innovative tools) and 3rd (international collaboration) Kavli symposia on science journalism, on behalf of the WFSJ.
She currently works for the digital division of Québecor media as editorial content manager and creative content producer.
