Leonor Sierra

Leonor Sierra is a freelance science writer and communications consultant based in Athens, Georgia (USA) and a Sense About Science Associate. She is currently leading on Risk Know-How, a project on how to support communities navigate risk information and assess benefits and trade-offs within their own context. She is originally from Spain and has fifteen years experience working in science communication and science policy. Following her PhD in Physics at the University of Cambridge, she worked for the UK non-profit Sense About Science as International Policy Manager and then as a press officer at the University of Rochester, USA.
